The Old Testament contains the Lord's commandments to us too,
if Jesus truly is your Lord.

I see that the Word is literal, but speaks of heavenly things.
Worldly minded people perceive it as allegoric, don't they?
so that they don't feel obligated to do the things God commanded.
They're not ready to enter heaven yet.

Thy word is true from the beginning:
and every one of Thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
